How to fill out DA FORM 31 for reassignment to Fort Irwin from fort drum? It is compassionate reassignment?

1. My report date to Fort Irwin from fort drum is SEP-10 and 60days early report is authorized but Don't have enough leave days to cover all the way to report date.

2. S-1 wants me to put 8days of PTDY for type of leave but thats for house hunting and I won't get flate rate pay or reimburse and it sounds very wrong.

3. What should I put down in DA FORM 31 on section 7. type of leave to get it properly approved by my commander?

4. I only need 6~8days maximum paid travel days to make it to Fort Irwin to sign-in

Clearing out will only take about 2weeks maximum and I want to get to my new unit soon as possible since my mom is in a dire health condition
