How does one go about filling out their OER Support form and later their OER? I have not been able to find a clear-cut 'example' of how a support form should look especially with some of the formats changing? So far I have just been keeping a running log, in bullet form, of the things that I have done since taking charge so that I don't have to go back and try to remember things. Resources or just getting pointed in the right direction would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I just finished my very first OER Support Form under the new system (EES). The great majority of the instructions, guidance, and examples are geared toward the rater's part of the process, so I can feel your pain. I just finished mine tonight - subject to review - and it was very painful! Although I had two examples, they were very poor and short. So what I did was to generate an OER Form and save it (with Adobe Pro) to .doc format. I then copy-and-pasted the instructions on the last two pages. I then made sure that each area and section had its own line. The objective is to divide and conquer, As many of the areas overlap with others. For example, good leaders develop soldiers, and by developing your soldiers you become a better leader. Also, when completing the part of Significant Contributions and Accomplishments, focus on Qualifying, Quantifying, and effect in the performance of the mission.
It is certainly a lot, the key is to start early, network with others, and getting it done before is late and somebody gets mad!

The link below is to the FAQ page on HRC's website. This puzzle befuddles many offices, sir. You are not alone.
Also, ensure your rater does the 67-10-1A, Jr Officer development form.

LT,

If you go to the EES @ https://evaluations.hrc.army.mil (CAC Card required). there are a lot of help tools there.
