My AMEDD recruiter informed me today that I am on the OML for 72D. I boarded in February. How long does one typically wait to hear the official result of the board. If you were placed on the OML, did you ever get selected and moved to a slot for school? How soon can I re-apply for better consideration? I am going to start a graduate program soon to increase my chances on the next board if I do not get pulled from the OML this time around. Any advice would be appreciated.

I retired as a 72D and my question will be: how does your packet look? What is your degree on and which is your MOS? All those are things to consider. Another way you can get into the 67C umbrella is by taking 9 credits in Entomology related courses and try for 72B. We work closely together and depending on the population of LT's you will have a chance. I would talk to a 70F which is the human resources expert for the medical services and he or she can tell you which of the two 72 series are saturated and which you have a better chance to be accepted. However, I would work on the packet.
