I am currently in the process of being separated from the army during AIT at ft Lee. I have done the SFL TAP and attended the pre-separation briefing, what else is there to do and how much longer does this process take?

It really depends on what you are being chaptered for. It can be quick, or it can take a while.

It’s for mental health reasons, depression/anxiety, chapter 5 or 11 , can’t remember which one

Depends on the Chapter. I've seen them take 2 months. I've seen them take 3 years.

It can be as quick as a month or a few months. There are a lot of task that you have complete. The SFL-TAP is usually the biggest hurdle. That is as long as your packet makes it to a COL to sign off on the providers recommendation.

Currently I have completed SFL TAP , I was told I’m only waiting for an appointment with Fincance and my Capstone, not sure what that means

PVT (Join to see) Your capstone is your final counseling for your SFL TAP. You should have a couple weeks left in the army at this point.

PVT (Join to see) - That is the start. The pace of it is dependent on the unit. It can be a month if they are quick or a few months.
