How long did it take for you to get your reenlistment bonus or signing bonus?

Im suppose to get a 20,000 reeinlistment bonus. I know i get half after my ETS date passes (so im told). I was just wondering how long it took to get it and if anyone had any problems getting theirs? I know a few pepole that has not gotten theirs yet and its been months.

Double-check your contract, you're DD-4 should have the start date in the remarks section and your bonus addendum should list the payment schedule.
That aside you should give it 90 days from its start date. After that your UA can submit a bonus inquiry.

Also, make sure you meet all the conditions of your reenlistment on the start date.
A Soldier in my unit lost his bonus because he re-enlisted, the effective date was six months later, by then he had transferred to the IRR and when he came back they denied his bonus because he wasn't in a TPU status on the effective date.

SPC Stephen Kemper I don't have access to guard systems but I would wager it's due to the IPPS-A (Integrated Pay and Personnel System - Army) conversion.
