As a former 504th NCO, you will deploy a lot! You will get schools if your not a dirt bag, there is a lot of opportunities to rise above your peers if you work hard and don't say no. I was a platoon SGT as an E5. You can also get Air Assault school at Fort Hood. Just keep in mind the 504th is the most decorated military Intelligence Bridge in the Army and they are definitely proud of that so its Hooah Hooah with very little man power. 3corps treats 504th as a normal size BDE when it comes to taskings and its no where close to the size.
