There are a lot of new shops and restaurants at Freedom Crossing. The brigades have changed foot prints, except 2/1. Other than that, not much else. Most gates have changed hours, also.

I loved Bliss and El Paso, but Jesus...2-1AD! I was there before 2-1 stood up and did a few NIEs. Fenced in and hated it with a passion. Was there for 3 years and left at the end of 2012. Do they still fence in those soldiers who go there?
I'm glad for those there now that they are a deployable unit. Sure our mission had value to the Army, but no one was terribly enthused about it.

Dave, as we transitioned to FORSCOM and down the road to deployment NCOs can't leave. A SSG was DA selected for drill and our CSM pulled his orders apparently. Defintely understrength and fenced in.

Is this 4-27 your speaking of? And the deployment your speaking of is iraq correct?
