Soldier comes to you and shows court documentation like Affidavits, and exhibits used in Appellate Court to stay an order in family court. Heres the thing the Soldier believes through this and court minutes that Soldiers in the chain released 4856s, Fap Treatment plans, and gave the spouse consent to relocate out of state, all without the soldiers permission. When the soldier used the open door policy, the soldier was threatened with a bar to re-enlistment for character flaws. Question: what and how do you help this soldier?

SSG (Join to see) Brother... What he said! GO to JAG! I have taken more than a few soldiers to the legal office because of "challenges"... and that is what they get paid to do... I get paid to take care of you and get you there.... or use too.

Lets be honest though, I help as a SSG and go on a limb for this soldier, the command will be like he isnt loyal to the commander and I will be in a world of shit. I will do anything to protect my own especially when I feel its immoral or illegal, but I have 8 more years to retirement and need to know if it is worth it

SSG (Join to see) - just remember, it is never about you and always about them (the troops or I think ya'll call the joes). I never had a problem jumping on the grenade for my boys and I never had a problem with the command, but that was my command and not yours. My point is no one here in invested in your guy, except you. No one here knows every detail but you. I know nothing about your command or your guy. That is why I wrote "take him to base legal". Then follow the lawyers guidance. Semper Fidelis and continue to fight the good fight.

SSG Roger Ayscue - I would skip the IG part though. You Army people are all about some IG time. That is the nuclear option.

You tell the soldier to call the base law center and make an appointment to speak to a military lawyer.

Nothing you can, or likely will share will share on an open public forum would put me in a mind set to "protect the soldier"
Before I'd be willing to "protect" the soldier or provide info / guidance to do the same I would want ..no need the level of background and information that can only come from the command team, CID, MP's . My suggestion to you is, unless you have that level of detail from the investigation... you are backing the wrong horse.
