THOR3 should be tailored to each individual and their goals. The programmers know what they are talking about and should not be blown off. Yes you need to ruck but you need that upper muscular endurance. 18Xs have follow THOR3 and out do everyone in the physical department.
PS...use a ruck heavier than 55lbs because the rucks in SFAS weigh more than 55lbs....then when you come to SUT I'll strap on a ruck that is 100+ pounds

Thanks for the input SFC! Question, how does one go through the whole program? I.e. the one tailored to each soldier?

I'm not an 18 series, but hopefully you can find some type of value in this. THOR3 is an amazing program available to SOF. As a matter of fact, its so important that it falls into the "Preservation of the Force & Family" program that the USSOCOM CDR mentions in his posture statement. Once you become part of the tribe and you can access THOR3 as you please, you will find that they will help you eat right, help you get better at something, and they will help you fix your bruised and broken body if it ever gets that far. I never trained with any THOR3 material prior to attending the PSYOP selection/pipeline, but I have used them since then and I find their capabilities to be a huge asset to me, and the people around me when we need it. If I was you, I'd use it and take anything you can get for your selection training. Military Athlete also puts out a bunch of great workout programs, but you have to pay for them. Good luck at SFAS!

Thanks for the good info SSG! I didn't know about the nutrition piece, I just have a print out of the excersize plan. I'll have to do more research. I appreciate it!
