I've been trying to get into virtual BLC ever since it was announced. I've sent up multiple packets but there's always some reason why I can't go. First I was told (by the schools NCO) my post would not be doing virtual BLC at all, when I found out that wasn't true I sent up another packet. Then I was told there were no funds for me to go. I sent up ANOTHER packet anyway under the advice of my PSG because neither of us have heard of funding being an issue. Now I'm being told funding for BLC got pulled from my entire post because we were not using the slots. So no one can go until next fiscal year. No one can tell me when this got implemented and it's just very hard to wrap my head around. Is this a thing? Can they really say nobody from an entire post can go to BLC for nearly 6 months?

Ummmm......I thought BLC was centrally funded and not funded by the unit or post. I'd be running this up the flag pole.

SPC (Join to see) - Yea....something doesn't sound right. Take this up with your 1SG and Commander. If that don't work, BN CSM. If that don't work, then BDE CSM. All thru their Open Door Policies, of course.

So this sounds like you have a shady schools NCO. An entire post losing funding for schools due to lack of attendance would be a huge scandal and repercussions would be felt all over. Your Brigade schools NCO should be able to set things straight. If your schools NCO is bs'ing you then that's cause for relief and potentially UCMJ action.
