Healthy diet is the best method to medicine. The regular diet is food for inflammation such as celery, carrots and sweet potatoes. Contact dietitian for listing.

With some of the Chinese steel inspired joint problems, the surrounding soft tissue flares up. That's why dichlofenic (Volteran Gel) is heavily prescribed to arthritics. Talk to your doctor. My pain doc has me using a compounded gel that has a hefty dose of this along with neuron pain inhibitors. It does work although I'm the type that lets it get bad before using it.

I have been told that eating cherries (fresh) can help with that joint pain, I have a Solier on glucosamine and chondroitin for her arthritis in her knee.

A fish oil supplement would help a lot! I've had numerous knee problems, to include currently torn ligaments. I recommend "GNC Triple Strength Fish Oil 1400 +Joint Support."

I take it and it has really helped me.

To combat bone degeneration, I've always stressed proper posture at all times and especially during exercises. I also take, and recommend, GNC Triflex with Glucosamine and Chondroitin, and MSM.

Eat right, exercise, stretch -- over your entire life -- those are steps in the right direction. Maybe vitamin supplements as well? That would be my prescription for arthritis and osteoporosis. Of course I'm not a doctor.
