How can a soldier qualify with their weapon outside of their own unit's range qualification?

I'd go to range control and find out what the schedule is and then contact a unit that is going tot he range as soon as possible. If you are at a major installation, there is someone on the range almost every day. It's pretty easy to get someone into a firing order at the end of the day once they are slowing down as long as that person you are trying to get in knows how to zero their weapon. If you have someone that can't hit the side of a gym with a shovel from 2 feet away...you will be causing pain for someone doing you a favor.

Thanks for the answers so far. It seems RP has actually reworded my question. Weird. A little bit of clarification:

We are a Reserve unit, and my Soldier and I are on the full-time staff. I am trying to help him square away a promotion packet. ERB has a valid weapon qual score, but he doesn't have a physical copy, and his last unit shredded everything after he left.
-None of our sister units have scheduled ranges in the coming weeks (Board is Nov 30th).
-Being USAR, technically an EST scorecard is valid. I'd really rather not have to use that option, but I'll be looking into whether or not we can piggyback with someone.
-Our tiny installation is actually used for seasonal hunting, and registered personal weapons are permitted on post. MWR co-opts the ranges when there isn't training going on, and has recreational shooters there almost every weekend.
-Would I be breaking with any regulations if I handed my Soldier my personal rifle or pistol, took him to the range, set up a target, and timed a qualification scorecard?To the extent of my knowledge, we're on an Army/DoD installation and adhering to service safety requirements.
