I can’t speak for the senior quarters. But they are definitely older than what junior enlisted is living in right now on carroll. The gym is small but you can make the best of it by going at the right times. Not much to do on base but there is a tour company at the activity center that does English tours and trips all round the peninsula for soldiers for usually less than $100. Off base of carroll is just a bunch of bars and food. Most soldiers go to daegu for fun and activities

Im with 2-1, leaving next month. We just got a new BC and CSM within the past 90 days. Optempo is high for the line batteries. Hopefully as a 42A, you can help the S1 shop become more efficient because they are struggling!

The gym is decent if you go after hours. Always packed during pt hours as expected. Not much to do in the immediate vicinity off post but Daegu is about 30 min away and thats a large citt. Thats where everyone normally goes on the weekend. Me personally, Im ready to get out of here and go back to my family.
