Does anyone know if the vaccine has been mandated yet? Is there a milper message our saying SM’s have to get it?

Last I heard, the SECDEF submitted the request to the POTUS. Haven't heard anything since.

The Vaccine is currently not mandatory for servicemembers. SECDEF published a memo https://media.defense.gov/2021/Aug/09/ [login to see] /-1/-1/0/MESSAGE-TO-THE-FORCE-MEMO-VACCINE.PDF saying he intends to request permission to make them mandatory NLT 15 SEP 2021 or upon final FDA approval whichever comes first. At this time though there is no requirement.
