Has anyone served with a foreign military either prior to or after your service in the US or as part of an exchange program?

I had an opportunity to participate in an exchange officer program with the British Royal Marines and with the Israel Defense Forces. What were some of your experiences and what did you learn? Would you do it again? What would you do differently?
