Has anyone on here had to deal with trying to get co-location orders? If so, could you give me a better insight?

I'm a PO3 in the Navy. He's a SGT in the Marines.
He just recently got stationed to Camp Pendleton, Ca while I'm in Va.

Does your rating exist at Camp Pendelton or is there a Navy station near Pendalton? How receptive is your command or his in working with you? Does the Dept of the Navy have a Married Couples Program like the Army does?

My wife and I got married at the US Embassy in Seoul Korea. I was on orders to Fort Bragg and she to Fort Campbell. Her unit was not helping at all. We contacted her branch manager, put in a Joint Domicile request and then her unit found out when she got her orders to Fort Bragg.
It can be done, just hang in there while you negotiate the minefield that is the Department of Defense Personnel departments.

SSG Roger Ayscue - I completely understand that one. The Marines aren't even allowing him BAH right now. He's getting pretty annoyed with all the hoops he's jumping through.
I'm just praying things work out for the best and soon enough we will get stationed together again... I have a feeling I have to finish my sea tour before they'll move me.
That's not for another 2 years..
