I had a friend that had an RE 3 and he went in front of an army traveling review board and was re-enstated. He told me of this traveling review board because I had broke my back on active duty and was trying to get disability. After meeting with the traveling review board in Tampa, FL I was givin 10% disability which I persued and after 4 back surgeries they made me 100% due to individule unemployability in 1994. The review board looks at all cases. It's been so long ago that I'm not even sure if it still exist but google it. Good luck and God speed.

I did, I had an RE 3, but I don't remember my letter code. But this was 2009 and I was very persistent for 2 years.

okay, well thank you that helps a little. may I as what the reasoning was for discharge or what happened?

It was under ch. 5-17 adjustment disorder after 3 years of time in the Army. I had to get 2 waivers, write a letter, get character references, sit out a waiting period. it was a pain.
