Has anyone got COVID before they were supposed to PCS OCONUS?

So I tested positive for COVID and was wondering if anyone had been in the same situation. My Airline say I have to have a Negative test result to fly or full recovery documentation. Which I’ve passed my quarantine but haven’t recovered yet and still testing positive.

I am OCONUS currently. In the same country you are going to, you do not need to test to come here if you are fully vaccinated. You also do not have to test to be considered recovered. You just have to be passed the 14 quarantine window and asymptotic x24 hours. After that, you are considered “recovered” as far as the government here is concerned. You do not require a negative test x 2 or a negative test at all to fly PE. I’m not sure why your particular airline requires it. As the German government just has you show a positive test that is greater than 14 days old and a certificate of recovery is issued. I’m curious what airline requires a test when the German government does not. I’ve flown both PE and delta with no test requirements. Did it say that on the airline website or did you speak with someone?

You answered your question. Your quarantine means absolutely nothing if you are still sick and testing positive. You can not enter an EU country regardless of your military status until you have 2 consecutive negative tests.

Thanks I know I did, but just wanted to see if someone has been in the same situation I have.
