Gunnery/Field training: with all the cut backs, should we slow the NTC trips down also?

I ask because I feel there are a lot of post that can conduct the same training as NTC. The only props I feel NTC has over most post are the CQB/Urban settings. I was stationed there for three years. Awesome place for training. Hands down one of the best (also Graf & Hoensfelds).

The CTCs offer us an opportunity to train our collective tasks at the Company/BN/and sometimes BDE levels. It is critical to continue to train our teams and Task Forces. What we might see is the CTCs sending more OC packages to our bigger installations to evaluate local training sites, which is probably more cost effective. You can also do your BGST at home station (not at FBNC....but for places like FHTX or FBTX)

My thoughts exactly CSM. FHTX and FBTX were my target areas. There was also a movement of soldiers from Irwin to Polk a while back. I assume it was for a change of terrain/training experience. But with all the money being "saved" due to cut backs, I wanted to see if there was any reason troops from "The Great Place" couldn't just conduct similar or even an exact replica of NTC training at said station, saving even more.

I was wondering what you were doing at FBNC, especially as a 91M, then I saw your unit status. Continue to train/study hard
