For Army Reserve contract. Does the Affiliation bonuses for NDMOSQ positions apply to a Soldier whose primary MOS is not that MOS?

SGT James Arnold Yes it does depending on the MOS. The MOS that you are going into just has to be on the current SRIP(bonus) list. The new list came out a few days ago and there are a lot of NDMOSQ bonuses on there. You will have to sign the affiliation bonus agreement at the time of singing the 4187 to transfer into a Reserve position, then when you are back in a unit you will have to reenlist to give you enough time for the bonus. You have 24 months to get MOS Qualified and then bonus paid at that time.

DMOSQ affiliation bonus: You are qualified as PMOS 94F. You transfer to a 94F position. Bonus paid on assignment.
Non-DMOSQ affiliation bonus: You are qualified as PMOS 94F. You transfer to a 31B position. You have 24 months from assignment to reclassify to 31B. Bonus paid once you are DMOSQ.
I can send you the official policy if you like.

You may be eligible to be paid a bonus for reserve affiliation if you:
Are serving on active duty or have served on active duty and are discharged under honorable conditions
Have less than 20 years of total military service
To be eligible to receive a bonus for reserve affiliation, a person must enlist in the Ready Reserve for at least 2 years in a skill, unit, or pay grade designated to be eligible for the bonus
You may need to check out HRC for details.

I hear you. I am aware of what you have mentioned. My question is more in regards to reclassing and getting the Affiliation Bonus for new MOS. Information I have read about online wasn't super clear, or it just mentioned other situations. Thanks anyway.

I'll just contact the Reserve Career Counselor I spoke with before and go from there. Since the current one seems a bit pushy. Hell, most are to some degree. lol
