Final Part OF A SERIES OF (4) DISCUSSIONS on Leadersip Questions - Leaders check out this final list of questions - can they make a difference in how you conduct yourself as a Leader and how your team reacts to you as a leader?
Here are (9) remaining leadership questions that you can ask your team or individuals within the team that could HAVE A IMPACT on your leadership style AND how your TEAM PERFORMS:
1. WHAT ONE THING SHOULD I DO MORE? (OR ONE THING I SHOULD DO LESS?)
2. WHAT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE YOU ARE DEALING WITH RIGHT NOW?
3. IF YOU WERE IN MY JOB, WHAT'S THE FIRST THING YOU WOULD DO?
4. WHAT DO WE DO BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE?

1. The 1st question seems very appropriate "WHAT ONE THING SHOULD I DO MORE? (OR ONE THING I SHOULD DO LESS?)"
2. I would modify the 2nd question from "WHAT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE YOU ARE DEALING WITH RIGHT NOW? to include what do you expect to be dealing with next?
3. IF YOU WERE IN MY JOB, WHAT'S THE FIRST THING YOU WOULD DO? [and why, what are you intending to improve]
4. WHAT DO WE DO BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE? [doing one thing better than everybody else, is not very sufficient. Performing everything up to standard at least and excelling in one or two things on the other hand would make a team stand out]
5. HOW CAN I IMPORVE THE TEAM'S PRODUCTIVITY? [good question]
6. WHAT ARE THE TWO KEY BEHAVIORS OF OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM? [i would not limit it to two, rather I would ask what are the key behaviors of our team - leadership without subordinates is somewhat meaningless]
7. WHAT ONE THING CAN WE DO TO MAKE OUR WEEKLY MEETING MORE EFFECTIVE? [What benefit is gained from our weekly meetings? should we meet less often in person?]
8. WHAT ARE YOUR TOP THREE GOALS FOR NEXT MONTH? [sounds reasonable, less or more than three should be acceptable.]
9. WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT OUR GOALS, WHAT ARE WE FORGETTING? [Are our goals sufficient? Should we remove any, modify any or add any goals in the short or mid-term?]
