I don’t live around any large military installations, but this area has seen terror activity. I live 30 minutes from Boston. We had the marathon bomber and some of the 9/11 bombers spent their last few days around here. My truck has veterans plates and I have a few Army stickers on my truck window, and a flag pole in my front yard. I Googled my name and town and my address came right up. Given that, I refuse to hide. I do worry about my family, but statistically I think my family faces more credible threats every day other than terrorist acts.

If they did choose my house, I have a loud German Shepherd, video cameras around my property, and 4 out of 5 of us have licenses to carry.

I have seen the warning but living in a small town in Idaho I find that ISIS doesn't exsist here so I don't worry but we should all be careful.

MSgt Copeland--thanks for sharing that. I see no shortage of courage here. We surely did not serve our nation to hide from our service. If we have to hide our uniforms then we need to do a better job of protecting our borders, screening out the misfits. While I am not a fan of racial profiling, I am a fan of criminal profiling. Nuts will attract more nuts like them and they are counting on plenty of free fodder right here in America. We must deal with the nut factor by swiftly cracking them open.

Courage is important. But being ambushed is a bad day even for the most elite of fighters, hence why we sneak around in the treeline wearing cammies instead of marching down the road in dress uniforms. The equivalent in the general US population is similar: blend. This increases your chances of being the one with the initiative if there is a fight.

SGT Kahakauwila Sham I too find a lot of teachings in the Koran, the Sunnah, Hadith and Shar'ia troubling. Nevertheless, your statement on a social media site about a specific group of people's blood making your green grass grow is inappropriate and unprofessional, you should strongly consider revising it to make it appropriate.

Muslim's are taught to lie to non-believers to befriend them and when the moment is right they will kill you...
