I’m in need of some extensive dental work and I’m going to need to get braces and retainers at some point after my wisdom teeth are pulled. My wife and I have been debating on wether or not Invisalign is covered or not. I would think they aren’t because we already get free braces as soldiers. But any information is greatly appreciated.

You need to speak to your military dentist. It is not likely that treatment like this would be approved. In fact braces for Soldiers is impacted by the hits rotational status. Thank you for your service.

If you're active duty this is something that you need to discuss with your dentist. If your teeth are as bad as you make them out to be, Invisalign may not even be an option for you even if you weren't in the military.
