Does the AEA code I on ERB actually mean you were selected for OCS?

Does the AEA code I on the erb mean you’ve been accepted to OCS? The interpretation on the reg is so vague. Will appreciate past selected applicants to shed more lights on this and if that was actually an indication that you had been selected.

I had the same code on my ERB when I applied and was selected. If you reach out to the accessions branch, they’ll tell you it just means that your packet is being boarded and doesn’t guarantee selection. However, everyone that I talked to that had the code got accepted and others that didn’t have the code did not get selected. I would take it as a good sign.

If your OCS panel board has passed and you have the aea code of I (pending warrant/OCS school) but nothing in ASK is it safe to say you didn't make OCS. The board met on May12-15 2020. I was Just wondering would it already be showing in ask or are they just waiting to remove the I off of my ERB anyone who has applied in the past please give feedback.?

I'm in the same boat right now. Awaiting anxiously for the results. Hopefully this AEA I code is a positive sign for selection.

90% of the time it is. The reason why I couldn’t say 100% is because out of 14 ppl I know, 12 of them with the (I) were selected. The remainder 2 had the (I) code but couldn’t make the selection list.
