I doubt it. It's been many years, but I had four eye exams before I was ever able to touch the controls. Depth perception is critical when flying NOE or goggles.

I hate to be brutal, but why would you want one? The pilots are normally the first to hit when an aircraft crashes. Seriously, if you push it, and even get it, it would only be given with restrictions on your flight status similiar to the restrictions placed on experienced pilots as their vision degrades; any restrictions would have a negative impact upon the pleasure you would experience by being a pilot and be a career limitation.

What?.......depth perception is crucial....it’s not about you.....it’s about the soldiers (their safety ) you may be carrying in the blackest of night to a sloping LZ......or flying in formation under night vision systems....
