Just started using mine last night! So far, I love it. It tracked my sleep perfectly. I was shocked. It's counted my steps and was pretty good for my run (mileage was off by 0.2 miles for my 3 mile run - and the heart rate sensor was definitely shy 30 or 40 beats per minute) - not sure exactly why yet. Regardless, I definitely enjoy it as a fitness monitor. Tracking my water intake is nice too. The main reason I got it was to have a constant monitor on my heart rate (I don't think it likes when my HR is in the mid 40s though). I'm glad I got it. It's a great motivating tool for those lazy weekends! 10,000 steps and counting!

One of the things I enjoy about my fitbit is sharing my results with my friends. It's a great way to stay connected; and friendly competition keeps me engaged! I wish it could wear it swimming as we are now swimming after dinner this summer. As with everything else, "to each his/her own". Find what works for you and stick with it! If something isn't working for you, try something new until you find the right fit. Happy Monday, everyone!

I LOVE my FitBit Surge!! I can easily track my treadmill, outdoor running, and indoor track times, my weight lifting heart rate, and my workout heart rate. I have been lazy with tracking my calories and water lately, but that part is great, too!

I like to checkout the latest fitness programs:
1. Last year I visited a gym that was using Kettlebells for their exercise classes
2. This May I joined an early morning running group at the local middle school outdoor track
3. Last month I visited the Soul Cycle Studio in Chestnut Hill MA
4. I was just invited to attend my high school's dedication for their new outdoor track next month.
5. Now that we are into the fall season in MA I have started hiking again and taking in the beautiful change of seasons.
So working out doesn't have to be borrowing or riding an indoor bike and staring at a wall or using a treadmill but not using it properly... I believe in varying your exercise programs and trying new things

yes I wear a flex and the senior NCO's in my unit use it as a way to motivate/ Compete for bragging rights against each other. I also bought one for the significant other so we can motivate each other and other friends and family. Needless to say most friends and family want to break my kneecaps to slow me down.

LTC (Join to see) - They provide tons of data but not sure of the accuracy ..But just estimates for your workouts... I like to know how fast I can run a mile & set a goal..Problem is I may never reach the goal but I'm trying.
