The MISSION Act strengthens VA’s ability to deliver trusted, easy to access, high quality care at VA facilities, virtually through telehealth, and in your community. That means you get the care and services you need, where and when you need them.
The VA Maintaining Internal Systems and Strengthening Integrated Outside Networks Act, or MISSION Act in short, strengthens VA’s ability to deliver trusted, easy to access, high quality care whether at VA facilities, virtually through telehealth, or in the community. VA has developed specific education for Veterans about receiving VA care, health care benefits, and other related updates as the MISSION Act went into effect, June 6, 2019. I want to know how private practices coordinate with the VA in regards to pertinent information.

Throughout my army career I have experienced less than acceptable customer service. It would piss me off to no end that their job and focus was to help me. I made the fortunate decision to go armor early in my career. It gave me a great tactical perspective to include getting in the mud with my troops. React to contact, find cover and concealment, then plan on maneuvering towards the enemy. I could empathize with them. When I took over a Finance Company I rallied the soldiers in the office and told them we are here to provide world class service to the soldiers. Some of them would not come home, and I can proudly say we treated all our customers with respect and tried hard to accommodate their needs. I was so damn proud of them.

MAJ Ken Landgren - Wish you were in charge of the VA. I've only had one thing hassle free from them and thats been the home loan. Everything else has been a nightmare.

I know that my outside MDs had my records, but 2 months gone & their records are not reflected in my VA records. This applies to both a physician I saw & paid with Medicare/TriCare For Life as well as a VA referral through CHOICE.

SGT Joseph Cabra Took 24 hours to get prescription meds refilled while traveling (had to transfer my patient status from Asheville VA to Baltimore VA and then transfer back) but in a little site in Yuma, their emergency room had access to my records immediately.
