I ordered of mini ribbon rack representing my unit citations. I've worn it for blacktie events where decorations are specified.

Yes, I had a set of mini ribbons made by Medals of America. Thought they would be nice to have if I wanted to wear them on my lapel. They are very small and look nice. Haven't wore them yet on any occasion but I may someday. http://www.medalsofamerica.com

Tiny ribbons serve a completely different purpose than standard/thin ribbons. Did you read the link ?

SGT (Join to see) - I think it is clear as can be. Tiny ribbons are display items, for those that wish to display them.
SFC William Stephens chooses to use his issued or purchased full size ribbons to display in the manner he wants.
If you want to display your rack in a differnt manner and that would be better served by purchasing "Tiny ribbons" so be it.. To each his own.
