I have seen a lot of individuals on RP who are claiming they are veterans but we’re chaptered our during basic, AIT, etc for failure to adapt, APFT, HT/WT, or other administrative/legal situation.
Do you believe these individuals should be able to claim they are veterans, especially on RP if they didn’t complete their contract?

Depends on the situation.
If someone serves 3 months and then is chaptered out for medical reasons then they are veterans.
If someone serves 3 months, bad mouths everyone they come across, fails to meet standards, and starts a pesky heroine habit, then no, I don't think they should be able to claim veteran status. But I'm pretty sure they can, technically.
Edit: Also, that marine better watch out. That army strong guy looks hungry and he's about to eat that marine in one fell swoop.

My personal definition of a Veteran is anyone with an honorable discharge. Its a simple, objective and, in my opinion, appropriate definition.
