Do you agree with Rand Paul's summary on the lack of charges against Hillary Clinton? Is there a double standard because she is a Clinton?

I wouldn't call it a "double standard". I prefer to think that for Hillary there is No Standard.

If one doesn't think Hillary did anything wrong, they have no business being in a leadership position let alone in the US military.

Intent vs. Negligence are not relevant to the compromising of national security information. The higher the security classification the more damage to our national security when it is compromised. This is especially true when dealing with intelligence assets are involved. Sadly, the general public do not understand just how serious what she did is. Being a communicator my entire career and cleared up to SCI I know just how big a deal it is. Do we want someone that has so little regard for national security with the nuclear launch codes? She should be prosecuted just like I would have been.

As a former Combat Crew airman I know that dealing with comsec/classified material is very serious if I or my subordinates accidentally emailed classified material( from FOUO up) to my/their home email I would be looking at at aminimum a reduction in rank, loss of pay and either jail time probation and a other than honorable discharge from the Air Force. This result would happen to most any Airman,Sailor,Solider or Marine, but not to a Presidential Nominee. How are we suppose that Nominee as a potential Commander and Chief who is so lax with classified materials with our service members lives.

TSgt Thomas Monaghan - She is getting a second level of a Pass when we say oh she was just lax with security. It was intentional. Using her office for her son in law was intentional. Hiding her use of Blumenthal was intentional. She gets to play the I'm the Smartest Woman in the world card and the Oh I'm just a Grandma card.

She had clear intent to remove her emails from the controlled communications network established by the DoS, which is a clear violation of 18 U.S. Code 793. Intent to establish a private server, check. Intent to establish and use a private email outside of DoS communications and transmit classified information, check. Guilty period

I do not always agree with Rand Paul, but in this case he is dead on target. I spent over 4 years working out of a building where you had to move TS material aside to set down a cup of coffee. Where would I be today had I been extremely careless?

SFC Everett Oliver the presumptive nominee??? We could write you in. Ever see anyone get burned for mishandling materials?

LTC (Join to see) - I was in what was known as the Vault at Theater COMSEC, saw a few get burned and one facility completely shut down... I don't know what happened to that COMSEC Custodian but I'm sure he had a short career.
