Yes, along with M-14 for Auxiliary Security Force training in Subic Bay, RP. I think the USMC instructors were in shock..lol. Also trained on M-16, grenade launcher (M203?), and threw a couple live hand grenades.
Then after sitting in the rain for 3 days, got "killed" by the OpFor...lol
Fun times!
Later qualified on 9mm in San Diego.
