What is the Army's policy on calling " Attention" or "At Ease" in the Maintenance Bays?

In Engineer units I served around, the facility was called to attention when the Commander arrived, then that was the last of it for the rest of the day unless HIS boss showed up (or My Boss, in some cases).
I don't have a answer as far as working in a maintenance shop, because I was Infantry while on active duty. Our unit would call "at ease" whenever Our First Sergeant entered came in or left Our COFs. Same went for Our C.O. Whenever ever He came in at the morning or left for the day. "Group Attention" was called. Same went for the Battalion or Brigade CSM. But, We would normally get a heads up when that was about occur.
