Completed MP-CCC in 2020 & I'm trying to transfer from a 25A to a 31A. Does anyone know the process or timeframe?

I'm just looking for more guidance rather than a simple, "ask your admin". Trying to learn! ;)
Googling it just comes up with switching military services and that's not quite what I'm after. I'm just trying to see how the process works, what I need to do to assist it and just be knowledgeable on the whole thing rather than pitching it off to admin. I mean, granted they'll handle most of it I'm sure but I want to do my part.
Thank you!

Process:
To change your branch from 25 to 31, your BDE sends a packet (checklist dependent on your state) to your G1 OPM.
Changing branch requires a fed rec board, which runs monthly.
Depending on the efficiency of both your BDE S1 and your G1, this process can take 6 weeks to 6 months.
To change jobs from 25 to 31, your BDE submits a transfer to a valid 31A vacancy, probably as a Personnel Action Request (PAR) in IPPS-A. Approval authority is probably your G1 OPM again, and could be 1 to 3 months, depending.

CPT Lawrence Cable
He completed MP-CCC, which should Branch Qualify him, unless they really have changed the rules since I got out.

In the reserves, we submit a packet through the chain of command (in ePat) requesting new orders awarding the AOC. The Readiness Division cuts the order; they also update the administrative data in the systems. Packet and process located at https://xtranet/usarc/usarpag/Pages/Checklist.aspx?action=T-2-O-1.

I think it's as simple as having your state officer management branch in G1 add it to your ORB.
