I’ve been working out and know that won’t be an issue. I just wanted to know what the Drill Sergeants expect from prior service. Thank you.

You'll be fine... they'll look to you for train ability issues, learn your basic combat techniques and don't let your prior service acronyms rear their ugly head.... I was a 14yr USN Airdale, then ..poof= Combat Arms Recruiter for 12yrs... MOSQ, PLDC, and BNCOC active component.... shook me well, 14yrs more and done....Fair winds and following seas....or should I say, find your Hooah!

I guess the big question being Navy, are you repeating all of OSUT, or going to Warrior Transition and then drop in on Phase II? A while back, but a number of guys that were reclassified from a different Service went through from day one. The Drills generally picked them for leadership positions and didn't give them the "personal" attention that the rest of us received. Other than that, they were part of the platoon and did everything the rest of us were doing.

My IET cycle had a couple reclass guys in it. Im assuming it will be similar, but they had their own barracks room and stayed separate from us. One SGT did ruffle some feathers when he tried to push his rank on others but other than that they had it a lot easier haha.
