1. What kind of rank structure... Air Force-like, or Navy - like.
2. Will members have to travel Space - A?
3. What will the duty uniform look like, and should they go ahead and start planning the inevitable change in pattern or color now to be ahead of the game
4. Will potential officers be called Space Cadets?
5. How will lieutenants handle land nav in 3 dimensions instead of 2?

Earring in morning formation. I yoked it out and the dumb ass private went to the 1SG & CO to complain. He ended up with a formal counseling statement from me and an Article 15 from the Company Commander. This was 1975. I later recommended him for chaptering out after the 2nd couseling statement for being late for movement. He left Germany a PV2 and a not so honorable discharge.

Somewhat serious answers:
1. Probably follow Air Fore structure as the Air Force followed its parent, the Army. Hopefully they will have the good sense to make an E-4 a junior NCO.
2. Sure. The Space Force personnel will mostly operate on the Earth and control space weapons remotely. Some may travel into Space. Someday we will be able to travel Space-A to nearby planets.
3. Too early to tell. Many Congressional and Political hurdles to get past before we worry about uniforms. No doubt Star Trek will influence the uniform choices.
4. Probably by everybody except the formal Space Academy personnel.
5. Pilots learn to navigate in 3 dimensions. Drone pilots navigate in three dimensions from long distance--possibly more difficult than doing it in the aircraft. I don't see why it should be a problem for people operating in space. Space shuttle pilots did it.
