Will be PCS'ing to USAG Humphreys later this year with my family; command sponsored. I expect to extend so will be there for 36 months. I suspect the majority of people rent, but was wondering how feasible buying a home in Korea would be with OHA. Does anyone have any experience with this, good/bad, indifferent?

Wow,
This is a new one. Im not sure of this because even with soldiers that's married to a Korean spouse they've even rented - unless they were ETS'ing in Korea then 'maybe' buy a house.
However, I wouldn't advise this at all. I can only amagin the red tape selling, renting after you PCS.
Good luck.

Looks like it's feasible...but why would you want to buy for only 3 years? Or are you wanting to turn something into an income property?

Investment, possibly. My wife is a Korean citizen. Just wanting to see which is fiscally the right move.
