PO2 David Dunlap - city might end mask mandates, however the reason they have different policies is because the Department of the VA is federally controlled just like our Military Posts, Bases, installations, etc. Another words the city can't tell federal agencies what to do. So if they are still on mask mandate, then that's what it is.
My advice is if you have COPD or any kind of situation where wearing masks causes issues, contact your primary physician to see if there are alternate or specific masks (they may or may not have costs associated with them) that you can wear.
I'll give you an example of an alternate. This is not covid related, but the principal is the same. I have problems with my knees that require me to use braces. The first pair they gave me were nice and confortable. Unfortunately, because they broke, I had to approach them again to get another pair. The next pair was very unconfortable, so I again approached my doctor(s). They were able to accomadate me with an alternatve set (and/or additions to make the 2nd pair confortable).
I too am sick of wearing masks, but they are to protect you and those around you. I'm no medical expert, how ever I recommend you find out why masks are still required at this point. If you feel necessary to contract a member of congress, that is your right.

An update, my records arrived today. I still wonder what took so long? 1996-2021 is along time . I've raised 3 children since I first requested my records.

CPL Jerry Galloway - Wow! If you get your healthcare from the VA and join "My HealthEvet", you can track, save and print all your forward going medical history... it is really good!

Sgt (Join to see) i have been dealing with knee problems that our dear uncle Sam denied in 97. Hopefully my claim will go through now that I have my records.

This new YouTube format is great. I always like how these conversations go beyond the typical sound bites you see on the news.

Thanks Ryan Callahan! Hope to get the studio more often. We're also testing ways to do this remotely too.
