I have been combat support for 18 yrs now. Being in the infrantry world and working in and out of the BSB I have seen a lot of crap. Starting with HT/WT. When did it become ok for Soldiers, especially Inf., to walk around bussing out of his/her uniform. Females, after one year after birth are still using the excuse "I just gave birth." Men there is no excuse. I am a black male, 6'3 255lbs, times I struggle but I stay within compliance and not bussing out of my uniform, and I do not buy extra bigger size to hide. My next concern has to with grooming. Men if your hair and face look like you just woke up and was in the field for 30 days and you are in garrison, just sign your discharge papers. Females. The Tracey Chapmen hairstyle demeans the professional look the Army stands for. If men cannot wear it neither should females, you wanna be equal right? I am not a standard police. I just uphold it and ensure my Soldiers I can control uphold, for they are a direct reflection of me. Tighten up your boot leaders... Just saying

Let's face it. We see so many people in uniform that are clearly overweight, and if not that, at least they look like they're overweight! My mother told me she was in shock when she saw a Soldier that was big. She's a civilian and is very proud of the Service and what all service members do. I just couldn't understand how as the First Responders that we are in times of conflict, we can represent such an unhealthy image.

I have been seeing senior NCOs/CSMs lately pull Soldiers out of the blue and tape em. I'm not sure why your singling out the infantry but unfortunately I know what your talking about. I've been seeing this in alot of support MOSs, especially Soldiers not having and showing their leadership respect. I hate going into a shop or mp's and seeing Soldiers talking to their NCOs like they are buddies.
