Will Swenson is officially an American war hero, awarded the Medal of Honor, the military’s most prestigious decoration for his actions in Afghanistan. But in the eyes of the Army, he was, for a time, a target of surveillance. Army investigators staked out his house. They went through his trash. And it all started because Swenson was mentioned in a book review posted to Amazon.com.

How do we know if the author is credible to say this actually occurred? Just curious!

TSgt Joshua Copeland Great point...as I am horrible with name recognition, so I often don't know the authors or their backgrounds.

TSgt Joshua Copeland - Even taking note of Mr. Siegel's bio, the Daily Beast is a well known as having a very strong leftist bias to its political commentary. In spite of that, I strongly suspect that this story is true at least in its broad sweep.
