Army MOS 94Y Integrated Family of Test Equipment Operator/Maintainer sounds like the closest thing to what you are describing. Here is a link to the description:

CW3 Dylan E. Raymond, PHR - Add TMDE (Test, Measurements, Diagnostics, Equipment) info to the 94 CMF info and you'll have a decent foundation.

I'd contact Fort Lee's Petroleum Center and School. The petroleum lab specialist work in the air mobile labs and that might be the MOS duty description you are looking for.
