LinkedIn, a must for those looking for work. Building a profile that is not just viewed but actually read beyond the header is just as important as the rest of the resume. Here are a few tips to follow, to get that recruiter something that will make them read beyond the header, into your summary/profile and onto the experience that you as a veteran have gained.

And if you have questions on what or how to get it right, browse LinkedIn, search profiles similar to yours to get ideas. And don't be afraid to connect to that person who's profile you are reading. They may share insight and information that can lead to something. Good luck

As some one who has not transitioned yet and having not the opportunity to ask the question, I don't know. I know I would like to see all the information one post about themselves and their experiences. Endorsements from coworkers and others are great indicators. I would like to think so, much like the profile I have built here as a military resume.

Sir,

From the many resumes I view on a daily basis, I see so many that have a tremendous background. But Im looking for veterans so I actually look at all of the information. But others just look at the catch phrases or summary to see if they want to keep reading.

And sir, I never met a Warrant that did not have an exit strategy. Good luck and thank you for your service.
