Are my years of service correct?

My PEBD is Jan 2002 because I entered the delayed entry program, but I left the delayed entry program Jul 2002 and did not go to boot camp. I did not rejoin the military until 2008 when I joined the Navy. I was in the Navy from 2008 to 2016. I took a year off and was commissioned into the Army, my years of service for pay is now at 16 years. This does not seem right to me as they are giving me credit for 6 years in a break in service.
