AOC 70B (Medical Service Corps) trying to request Yongsan, Korea. How likely is it that I can get Command Sponsorship for me and my spouse?

I am prior enlisted and currently pursuing my Masters through Green to Gold (ADO). I recently branched Medical Services and will commission on June 2019. I have been researching on some good duty stations and have decided to request Korea. I have been stationed at Camp Hovey before (unaccompanied). I am trying to find out, can I request Yongsan (command sponsorship) and me my wife with me. Also, how likely is it that it will be approved for a new 2LT?
Thank you for your responses.

It's unlikely (but not impossible) you will get stationed in Yongsan, because of the Yongsan Relocation Plan, which aims to move all U.S. forces out of Yongsan and everything north of Seoul, and to give the installation back to the Koreans (reference below). As SSG (Join to see) mentioned, Camp Humphreys will be your most likely location, because the main hospital will be located there (although I can't speak for the hospital relocation timeline).
Are you only wanting to volunteer for Korea if your wife can accompany you? Meaning, if your chances of command sponsorship approval are low, you don't want to put yourself into that volunteer pool? Or are you wanting to volunteer for Korea regardless of Command Sponsorship?

USFK relocation out of the Greater Seoul Metropolitan Area and areas north of Seoul are important and significant events for both the US and ROK governments. Korean will get valuable and strategic land back into Korean controls to realize the plans for the Korea’s long term goals. US forces will consolidate into two hubs around Osan/Pyeontaek and Daegu while improving efficiencies , moving out of the populated Korean cities and into less...

SFC Redmond,
Thats true. I was previously stationed at Camp Hovey and it was an unaccompanied tour. I am not planning to volunteer for Korea unless there is a good chance that my command sponsorship will be approved.

2LT (Join to see) I just had a buddy get stationed in Humphreys and he was able to take his wife. I also had a couple of soldiers that I taught in AIT a couple months ago that got Korea as their first duty station and they had no problem getting command sponsored.

2LT (Join to see) - The Army generally has a hard time filling Korea, as you probably know from your first tour. Most units are very happy to have Command Sponsored Soldiers who can be continuity. I'm in my fourth and final year now.
Humphreys will be the new Yongsan, so your chances are higher there than anywhere else. However, I don't know how that type of stuff goes on the Officer side.
