Anybody else glad that SMA delayed the new NCOER until 2016?

I have already been hearing concern from my peers about not being ready for the new NCOER, and not really feeling comfortable with the new system. This is mostly coming from the older NCOs who are very used to the old ways.
I have only done one NCOER in my career and find the new one pretty straight forward. But extra time may help with a smoother transition

Not really. Was really looking forward to it. Not a fan of what we have now.
What i am not liking what I'm seeing with this new change is the drop to 24% for SR Rater.

I haven't seen the new format, but I generally like the idea of doing it online and for having a forced ranking system. I believe that the latter will help prevent the race of inflated NCOERs. All too often NCOERs get changed so that the NCO is not at a disadvantage with other inflated reviews, which creates a viscous cycle.

It it not too unlike what you have been used to as an officer. The only concern I have is how the forced ranking system it's limits imposed on the raters will affect small sections, or situations where most of the subordinates are enlisted.
