Lol, paranoia is just extreme preparedness! But to be serious I want to compile gear from different eras of 20th century modern warfare. I would love to obtain WW1 chemical gear but I'm thinking that's wishful thinking.

SPC Shon Covington - good luck with that. Most of that kind of gear was destroyed after they were turned in. Very hard to find, particularly older stuff.

Flea Markets, garage sales in military neighborhoods, surplus stores, and surf internet.

Ebay, army surplus stores, and a lot of reserve units. I'm kind of joking about the last bit, but there are a lot of units in the Reserves that have old and obsolete equipment that you might be able to get if you go through the proper channels. I don't know what those channels are, but I know that there needs to be some sort of demilitarization process before excess equipment is auctioned.

I've been scouring stores in my tri state area, I've come across some good pieces of equipment. Thanks for the input.

SPC Shon Covington - Yeah, I figured with the large Veteran population in Texas, the surplus stores may be your best bet over pawn shops since people are probably getting a better deal there since that is what the surplus stores specialize in over a pawn store that sells all sorts of items. I still use my MOPP bag for towels and stuff when I take the kids to the pool.

Mainly old mask jslist mask carriers spent canisters. It's for memorabilia sake. I'm trying to piece together gear from each Era of chemical warfare.
