After being flagged and unflagged for the ABCP, will I have to become promotable and make points again?

I'm a SGT who was promotable, I recently PCSd. When I got to my new unit I busted tape and got put into the ABCP. When points came out my name was on the by name list. I quickly lost the excess and am no longer flagged. Will I have to wait to become promotable and make points again or will I, since I was on the list, be able to be promoted?

Your name should have been removed from the list the minute your FLAG was processed in the system. One of two things happened: 1) The list and your FLAG crossed paths with each other in the system and your name appeared on the list before the system recognized the FLAG. 2) No one processed your FLAG in a timely manner.
By the regs, your P status should have gone the way of the Dodo once the FLAG was input into the system. Since your name appeared on the list while you were flagged, I would recommend your Platoon Sergeant contact S-1 and see what's up.

Been There done that
Unless Changed if you are eligible and already promotable, the Promotion should go into effect, 1 day of the Month 30 days after your Flag was lifted... ie... Flag lifted in Feb... promoted 1 April... or in the Old days ...
