Army SPC Matthew Tattersall, the Paratrooper who gained fame just last week for celebrating his final training jump by bringing his pet fish along with him and filming the experience on a Go-Pro camera, has now faced the wrath of the UCMJ for his stunt.

So what was the punishment for? There is so much crap you jump with and they hammered him for a water bottle? This guy needs to go to selection.

Okay they're a different breed those airborne mutherf*kers. I got out of the Army in 2007. Even then they seem to have lost the power of a summarized Article 15(an intensive counseling statement of sorts) They seem to just want to burn than correct now a days. Take away freedom short term, no loss of rank or money, and some remedial training or cleaning and embarrassment. And never ever follows you. But now it is more of what I can do to you than how can I teach you a lesson of what is not acceptable. Just my persona opinion.

It was a harmless thing. Some times we get to full of ourselves. Make the kid buff the floor once or twice.

Safety is always first. I can just here what went on in the UCMJ proceedings. Now what you did was cool but you not only endangered yourself, your fellow paratroopers, but also your pet. Lol
