Anyone had to deal with geographical restrictions post-divorce? What to do if I get orders somewhere outside the restriction location.

I've had some folks who work with/for me have this happen. It's hard to deal with and you should be able to work with detailers (Navy term) for when your orders are written to stay within the area.
In the event you can't you may end up having to go back to court, but likely, the court order is a small court that will be over-ridden.

What I fear is that my ex has maintain that she will not allow it and fight so that the order stand. In that case, if I receive orders to somewhere else, can I decline them without pretty much separating myself from the service?
I have always heard that if I decline orders to PCS I am subject to administration separation.

SFC Osvaldo Vazquez I am not sure how orders work in the Army with regards to who actually writes them but it's definitely better to try to get ahead of the process than try to fight the orders after they're written. In some circumstances (yours could be one but no promises) declining orders is survivable, but rarely.

SFC Osvaldo Vazquez Any judge that would throw you in the klink for following military orders isn't going to keep his job for long. Hook up with JAG imo and explain the situation. They've probably seen it, and know how to deal with it. My guess is it's nothing more than a phone call from them to the Judge's clerk.
