Does Carly Have The Record To Throw These Punches?

In 1999, Fiorina became chief executive officer of Hewlett-Packard Company, making her the first female head of a Fortune 20 company. In 2002, Fiorina muscled through the multi-billion dollar acquisition of Compaq Computer, a major contributor to the greater than fifty percent drop in the value of Hewlett-Packard shares during Fiorina’s tenure. In 2005, Fiorina was ousted by the company’s board of directors who believed that Fiorina’s management style was stifling the company's growth potential. In 2008, Hewlett-Packard paid $14 billion for computer services company, Electronic Data Systems Corp. Many say the move vindicated Fiorina’s earlier strategy. In addition to the failed Compaq merger, Fiorina’s legacy at Hewlett-Packard has received criticism for destroying the company’s culture, loss of half of the company’s stock price while also firing 30,000 employees. She is considered by some to have been one of the worst technology CEOs in history. During her time at Hewlett-Packard, Fiorina was appointed as a member of President George W. I think Carly gets too much of a bad rap for her HP years. She was working for her bosses, the Board, who at a minimum bought into or more likely were co-owners of the strategy. It worked and didn't work. The company morphed into a different animal. It couldn't continue as is. If you look at her tenure, it would be hard to think of who'd do better giving the hand that was dealt. I'd hope she will take responsibility for her share and move forward. You learn more from bad experiences.

I wonder if she'll be around come next March. If so, she'll deserve a closer look. I'm doing my best to be an informed shopper.

It seems everyone is looking at her old record and not the policies she is running on.. If you think she failed then maybe she did the real question is what did she learn from it. Is failure really failure if you lean and take something from it so the next time you face that situation you are better prepared? We should look at all the candidates policies not there past, this also includes Trump as much as I hate to say it..
