Which do you prefer DTS or old fax/mail in 1351-2 method? I like DTS because I get paid faster. Though only if the reviewer and approver look at it within a responsible amount of time. What are your thoughts/experiences?

I like DTS. Once a Soldier learns how to use the system, it is extremely efficient.
Also, it helps that my reviewer is actually on top of things and reviews DTS in a timely manner. I am sure those that slack off would have a different experience.

DTS is a pretty good system. It's thorough and it doesn't get lost in the mail or filed in the wrong cabinet. The old way needed automation and DTS was the answer. It can be a pain and fairly burdensome to finalize, but it's far better than the old system of resubmit 17 times because, "We lost your packet/didn't get here/are you sure you sent it?"
